Sony SSB3000 Bookshelf Speakers Review
Sometimes Sony kit gets a reputation for being flashy but not necessarily delivering the goods when it comes to the important features and general audio results. Fortunately this is not an accusation that could be made at the Sony SSB3000 Bookshelf speakers.

These simple looking and completely lacking in flash mid sized shelf standers are anything but lacking in the audio department. Boasting a well designed 3 ¼” mid cone and a nice solid looking 8″ woofer the pair we tested provided a crisp mid and top end sound with a very good amount of bass response.
These Sonys are exceptional value for the money, and in tests outperformed speakers for 2 or 3 times as much. Highly recommended.
Original RRP: $140 but now more likely to be found for about $90 on Amazon
